The Australia cricket coach Mickey Arthur says he's willing to entertain the idea of trying to lure Mike Hussey out of retirement to help Australia in the Ashes against England.

Australia's trailing 3-0 in their four-match series in India and go into Friday's dead-rubber fourth Test in Delhi juggling a series of form, discipline and injury issues.

The skipper Michael Clarke is in doubt with a back injury while vice-captain Shane Watson returns from a one-match ban over the controversial homeworkgate affair amid question marks over his own form.

Arthur says 37-year-old Hussey, who retired from the international scene in January but is still playing for Western Australia, would be a major boost for the side if he returned for the Ashes tour in July.

Arthur has also deleted his Twitter account following a barrage of abuse from fans.
