The Blues coach Sir John Kirwan has named an unchanged side to tackle the Crusaders at Eden Park on Friday night.
Rene Ranger will run out at centre again but the 26-year-old's place in the Blues long-term is up in the air, with rumours of a move to France.
Ranger says he hasn't signed anything yet but with a lot of clubs on the ropes overseas, his options are open.
The three-test All Black admits the prospect of regaining a test spot in the midfield is tantalising, what with Sonny Bill Williams' departure, Richard Kahui heading to Japan and Conrad Smith expected to take a sabbatical after the Super Rugby season.
But Ranger says there's still plenty of competition for the All Blacks midfield with Robbie Fruean and Ben Smith pushing hard.
Ranger says he's definitely signed for Northland again and is here for the whole rugby season, regardless of whether he does sign to play offshore at some stage.
