The Wellington Phoenix captain Andrew Durante says turning their A-league football season around with only a few rounds to go won't be easy and says they must target their next three games, which are at home, as must wins.
Durante was disappointed with their 2-0 A-league loss in Brisbane on Sunday night, believing a fatigued Roar side Brisbane could be vulnerable having returned from their Asian Champions League qualifying failure on Wednesday night.
Durante was unimpressed with the poor state of the Lang Park pitch but did not blame it for his side's loss.
The Phoenix remain on the bottom of the ladder, six points off the playoff places with six games remaining, while Brisbane improve to seventh.
