The New Zealand cricketers have won their warmup Twenty20 match in South Africa, beating South Africa A by 24 runs in Pietermartizburg.
The Black Caps batted first and scored 140 for 8 with newcomer Colin Munro making 39 and captain Brendan McCullum 32.
The tourists then restricted the locals to 116 for 9 in their 20 overs with another newcomer Mitchell McClenaghan taking 3 for 19 off his 4 overs.
Ronnie Hira also took 3 wickets.
The first T20 international against South Africa is at Kingsmead in Durban on Friday night.
