The Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has announced a date for his return after spending half the year recovering from a knee injury.
The 11-time grand slam champion will make his return in an exhibition tournament in Abu Dhabi starting on December 27.
Nadal resumed training only at the end of last month, having been out of action since his shock second-round defeat at Wimbledon to the Czech Lukas Rosol in June.
