The All Whites will experiment with a new formation for their international football match against China in Shanghai tonight.
Coach Ricki Herbert is trialling a youthful looking 4-1-4-1 formation with Los Angeles Galaxy's Dan Keat set to make his first start for the All Whites, operating in front of the back four.
Chris Wood will operate as the sole striker with Kosta Barbarouses and Marco Rojas on the wings and Michael McGlinchey and Tim Payne in the central midfield.
In the absence of regular captain Ryan Nelsen Winston Reid will play in central defence along with Tommy Smith with Ben Sigmund and Tony Lochead completing the defensive line.
Mark Paston will play in goal.
The match kicks of at 12.30am tomorrow morning.
