The New Zealand women's golf team is tied for second after two rounds of the Espirito Santo World Amateur Team Championship in Turkey.

The Republic of Korea is leading by five shots at eight under par.

New Zealand's world number one Lydia Ko carded a 3 under 69 for the second round to be tied for first in the individual rankings at 5 under par.

She was well supported by her team-mate, Auckland's Munchin Keh, who opened with a calamitous non-counting 21 over par 93, responded with a one over par 73.

Waikato's Emily Perry also fired a 73 for the Kiwis to post a two under par total for round two.
