The former Silver Fern shooter Jodi Brown faces a tough task in forcing her way back into the New Zealand netball squad during this week's trials in Auckland.
Brown hasn't featured in the national side since 2007, but is coming off the back of an impressive trans-tasman championship season as the captain of the Southern Steel.
However five doesn't go into four and incumbant shooters, Irene van Dyk, Catherine Latu, Maria Tutaia and Paula Griffin will be near on impossible to usurp.
Brown concedes she's got her work cut out.
The final squad will be named on Monday for next month's three-test series against Australia.
