The New Zealand Warriors have suffered a dent to their bid to make the National Rugby League playoffs after blowing an 18-0 lead against the Manly Sea Eagles last night to lose 24-22.

The Warriors were in complete command, racing out to an 18-0 lead inside 32 minutes and still led 22-6 after Manu Vatuvei scored in the 45th minute.

However, two tries to Manly halfback Daly Cherry-Evans and a late match-winning conversion from co-captain Jamie Lyon was enough to snatch the victory.

The Warriors are now 11th on the table and two points adrift of the top eight.

In other National Rugby League action the Canterbury Bulldogs have beaten the North Queensland Cowboys 32-18 and the Penrith Panthers beat the Cronulla Sharks in golden point 21-20.
