The first New Zealand athletes to start their programmes after the Opening Ceremony include the rowers, road cyclists and equestrians.
The three day eventing team is led by the evergeens Mark Todd and Andrew Nicholson,
and the latter's feeling confident about capturing his first individual eventing medal in London.
Nicholson will head into the dressage round on his top mount Nereo, with a lot of faith.
