Hansen says team will be better for more time together

The All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says they didn't want to blood any more new players and wanted to give combinations some more time together in the second test against Ireland in Christchurch on Saturday.

Hansen has made just one forced change to his side which won the opening match 42-10 at Eden Park, with Adam Thomson starting on the blindside flank for the injured Victor Vito. Sam Cane goes onto the bench.

Hansen says the introduction of four new players is enough at this stage and he's still looking for improvement from the players he has selected.

He says they're also expecting Ireland to improve, as they are a nation with a 'never-say-die' attitude so what they did last time won't be good enough.
