The New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic has made a disappointing first round exit at the French Open.
Erakovic led 5-3 in the opening set against the Spaniard Lourdes Dominquez Lino, but the former French Open junior champion broke twice to take the set 7-5, and she closed out the match 7-5 with another service break in the second set.
Both players had a first service rate of just 56 percent, while Erakovic committed 49 unforced errors.
