French rallying great Sebastien Loeb is back on top in his Citroen after the first day of the Rally of Argentina.
Finnish driver Mikko Hirvonen was just one tenth of a second behind Loeb, also in a Citroen, while Spaniard Daniel Sordo was third in a Ford.
Rally Argentina's route is the longest in the World Rally Championship in nearly 10 years - the combined stage distance from the opening super special stage and Friday's first full day totalled 204 kilometres.
