A 28-year-old rural manager from the National Bank has won the Waikato Bay of Plenty regonal final of the National Bank Young Farmer competition.
Tim Van de Molen from Hamilton won by a massive 53 points at Morrinsville on Saturday.
An auction held in conjunction with the competition raised more than $4000 for the Christchurch Earthquake Recovery Fund.
