Federated Farmers is to lodge appeals against the Manawutu-Whanganui Regional Council's One Plan, on a number of matters.
That's become clear from feed-back to the federation, following the release of the final version of the plan, which sets the rules for managing the region's natural resources over the next 10 years.
Manawatu-Rangitikei president Gordon McKeller says it's a vast improvement on the original document.
But he says some areas will still need to be challenged in the Environment Court and those will be identified at a meeting on 19 October.
