Currency movements largely accounted for wool prices climbing another notch at this week's North Island sale.
Exporter New Zealand Wool Services International reports that 99% of the 6000 bales on offer sold.
Price rises ranged from 1% or 2% to as high as 6% to 10% for some fine cross-bred wool.
Next week's South Island sale is another very small one, with fewer than 5000 bales offered for auction.
