The South Island sheep dog trial championships run at at Blenheim last week proved to be a
successful outing for the Murphy family of Whangamomona in Taranaki.
Dan Murphy and his dog Rebel won the Zig Zag Hunterway event, while Steve Murphy with Kahu won the Short Head and Yard.
The Long Head event was won by Eion Herbert and his dog Haig, from Wakefield.
Steve Kerr, with Dodge, from Fairlie in South Canterbury won the Straight Hunterway event.
