England centre Manu Tuilagi has been fined $6000 by team management after jumping from a ferry in Auckland on Sunday.
Tuilagi was detained by police and warned for disorderly conduct after swimming a short distance to a pier at the ferry terminal just before 7pm on Sunday.
Tuilagi apologised for the incident, saying it was a silly thing to do.
The England Rugby Union would not comment on whether alcohol was involved.
The fine will be paid to the Rugby World Cup's Christchurch earthquake appeal.
