More than three quarters of a million people have attended Rugby World Cup matches so far, with another 20 matches still to play.
A total of 1.32 million tickets has been sold, which is just below the target of 1.35 million.
Rugby New Zealand 2011 Ltd chief executive Martin Snedden says that is a fantastic result.
Total revenue is also on target - only $10 million below the goal of $269 million.
Mr Snedden says tickets are still available for pool matches in Nelson, Palmerston North, Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton, as well as the quarter-finals and semi-finals.
