One person was arrested and 11 people were evicted from the stadium at Sunday's Rugby World Cup match between England and Georgia in Dunedin.
A crowd of 20,000 people watched England's 41 - 10 victory.
Dunedin police area commander Dave Campbell says five people were evicted for disorderly behaviour, two for taking liquor into the ground, two for intoxication and two for fighting.
But Inspector Campbell praised the crowd's behaviour overall, saying fans again enjoyed a well-managed, family-friendly event.
St John treated nine people before and during the game for minor medical matters.
