Nominations have opened for the ACT Party candidacy in the Auckland seat of Epsom.
Rodney Hide MP will not contest the seat in November's general election after he was ousted as the party leader by Don Brash.
Former Auckland City Mayor and National Party MP John Banks has already indicated his intention to put his name forward as the candidate.
Nominations close on 24 May and the party's board will select the candidate on 28 May after canvassing members.
