Winston Peters travels to Samoa amid measles outbreak

Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters is travelling to Samoa tomorrow to visit hospitals and medical teams dealing with the measles outbreak.

Peters is visiting with the Minister for Pacific Peoples Aupito William Sio and they will also meet with the Samoan Prime Minister.

Peters says the government is continuing to work closely with Samoa and other international partners as the situation develops and needs arise.

The death toll in Samoa from the measles outbreak rose to 72 today.
