Former MP Taito Phillip Field is appealing against his conviction and sentence on bribery and corruption charges.
Taito Phillip Field was sentenced in October to prison for six years, for his involvement in giving Thai workers immigration help in return for labour.
He was found guilty of 11 charges of bribery and corruption and 15 of obstructing justice.
The Crown is also seeking $58,000 from Field under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
It says the money comes from his offences.
Court dates are not yet set for either hearing.
