Incoming Prime Minister John Key says his Cabinet Ministers will be under no illusion as to what is expected of them.
Mr Key and his Cabinet line-up will be sworn in on Wednesday.
They include new MP Steven Joyce, who will take the transport and communications portfolios, and second-term MP Paula Bennett, who will be minister for social development and employment.
Mr Key told Nine to Noon he was convinced they could deliver, adding that he, too, was stepping into a new role, never have been part of a Cabinet before.
He will lay out his expectations of his ministers at the first Cabinet meeting.
