Incoming Prime Minister John Key has spent two days meeting interest groups.
The meetings come as the National Party finalises agreements with support parties ahead of announcing its Cabinet line-up on Sunday.
Mr Key has wasted no time meeting with a wide range of political and interest groups.
On Friday he met representatives of iwi Tainui, Tai Tokerau, Tuwharetoa, Whanganui, Ngati Porou and Ngai Tahu.
The Maori Party continues consultation hui around the country to seek support for its agreement with National.
UnitedFuture leader Peter Dunne says his agreement has been finalised. He has not commented on speculation that he will continue as minister of revenue, but says he is happy with a ministerial role outside Cabinet.
ACT Party leader Rodney Hide says talks are continuing with National.
Mr Key met union representatives from the Public Service Association and the Council of Trade Unions on Thursday.
He also met with representatives from Federated Farmers, Business New Zealand and the Wellington Chamber of Commerce.
Mr Key says his government wants to have an informal relationship with the Green Party.
He says Greens co-leader Jeannette Fitzsimons contacted him on election night and suggested the two parties could work together on certain issues.
He says he hopes to discuss the suggestion further.
