PM leading delegation to Pacific

7:17 am on 27 May 2014

New Zealand Prime Minister John Key will lead a delegation to Samoa, Tonga and Niue on Sunday.

He will meet Pacific leaders and visit New Zealand Aid programme projects during the five-day trip.

Mr Key said the mission reflects the close relationship New Zealand has with its Pacific neighbours.

The delegation of 40 will include MPs from all parties, leaders from the Pacific communities and aid agencies.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Murray McCully, will attend the Pacific Island Forum leaders meeting and a conference on small island developing states.
