Residents eligible to vote in the Christchurch East by-election to select a new MP have just one week left until polling day.
Registrar of Electors Glen Clark says voters outside the earthquake affected Christchurch East electorate temporarily while their house is being repaired can stay enrolled in Christchurch East and will be eligible to vote in the by-election.
Mr Clarke says all voters must be enrolled by Friday - the day before the 30 November by-election.
Ten candidates have been nominated including Matthew Doocey for the National Party, Poto Williams for Labour, Gareth Veale for ACT and David Moorhouse for the Green Party.
The seat has been left vacant by Labour's Lianne Dalziel, who is now the city's mayor.
