The latest political poll shows the National Party still has a commanding lead over Labour and has enough support for a third term.
The Fairfax Media-Ipsos Poll asked respondents which party they would vote for if a general election was held today.
The poll puts National's support at 44.9% compared to Labour's 32.6%.
The Green Party was on 11.9% followed by New Zealand First on 3.6% support.
The Maori Party registered 2.7%, Mana 1.2% while the Conservative Party, ACT and United Future were below 1% support.
The survey of 1000 people was carried out from 19 - 23 July and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1%.
