Tornadoes were seen over Auckland on Wednesday afternoon and MetService warned more were likely.

Duty forecaster Heath Gullery says the warm weather and heavy rain make conditions perfect for tornados and eastern suburbs residents should expect to see more on Wednesday night.
Emergency services have not had any reports of damage.
