The Government is taking steps to improve cancer treatment in moves that implement pledges made before the election.
They include a plan to bring cancer treatment into the Government's set of waiting time targets by the middle of the year.
Health Minister Tony Ryall says it will mean all patients who need either radiation or chemotherapy treatment should get it within four weeks.
The changes also alter immunisation targets for infants and affect goals for the treatment of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
