Police in Bay of Plenty have arrested 52 people and seized drugs, firearms and stolen property in an operation targeting known criminals.
Methamphetamine, 65 cannabis plants, about 40 grams of cannabis, 40 Ecstasy pills, a shotgun, ammunition, a Taser and three stolen motor vehicles were seized.
Those arrested face a variety of charges including unlawful possession of ammunition and restricted weapons, and numerous drug related charges.
