The drivers of a school bus and a fully laden logging truck have walked away from an accident in Southland.
Police say the two vehicles collided at an intersection on SH 98 near Invercargill on Tuesday evening.
No children were on board the bus and the truck driver was the only person in the truck. The police say it appears one of the two failed to give way at the intersection.
A crane has been brought in to remove one of the vehicles.
A week ago, 35 children were injured, one critically, when a logging truck ran into the back of a school bus in eastern Bay of Plenty.
