Police have arrested a man who has been on the run for nearly two years.
A dozen officers raided an address in Pukehina, south of Tauranga, on Thursday night.
They apprehended Simon Allan Kerr, who was being sought in relation to burglaries involving about $200,000 worth of goods taken from commercial premises in Northland.
He appeared in the Tauranga District Court on Friday and was remanded in custody to appear in Whangarei next week.
