Long-time Wellington sports broadcaster Graeme Moody has died in a surfing accident, while on holiday in New South Wales, a day before he was due to fly home.
Moody, 60, had a journalism career spanning more than 35 years and covering several Olympics, Rugby World Cups, Commonwealth Games and the America's Cup.
He worked for Radio New Zealand and Radio Sport for 30 years.
