Electricity lines company Orion has announced its new chief executive officer following the departure of Roger Sutton to head the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority.
Rob Jamieson was the company's general manager of commercial.
Mr Sutton had been chief executive of Orion for eight years and took a substantial pay cut when he moved to the Earthquake Authority where he is paid $500,000 a year.
