The father of a New Zealand woman who died in Thailand this year says he understands the results of an investigation by Thai authorities will be released on Friday.
Thai authorities have been investigating the death of Sarah Carter and four other tourists in Chiang Mai.
An expert panel and a team of investigators from around the world have been examining potential viral, toxin and chemical causes which may have led to the deaths.
The woman's father, Richard Carter, says he understands from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the report is expected on Friday.
Mr Carter says he is not optimistic about the level of detail it will go into but is hoping for something more definitive than what he has been told to date.
