A 13-year-old Hamilton boy remains in a critical condition in Waikato Hospital after being hit by a car on Thursday morning.
The boy is in a coma in the intensive care unit after being hit by a car in Ruakura Rd.
Police say it appears he was running across the road after a friend when he was struck.
They say traffic was busy at the time and they are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
