State Highway 1 near Wellsford, north of Auckland, has reopened after a fatal crash involving two cars and a motorcycle.
St John Ambulance says two people died in the crash, while five others were injured - one critically.
Two people have been seriously hurt, while another two have moderate injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours following the crash on Monday.
