Telecom says most of its South Auckland customers who have been affected by broadband issues are now back online
Telecom says just under 4000 residential and business customers in the area have had intermittent service since Sunday morning because of a technical fault.
It says technicians have now restored the service and most of the affected customers are back online.
Fewer than 200 customers are believed to be still affected.
At one point, Orcon sent out a message to its customers saying Telecom's network issues were affecting service for many of its customers. Some Slingshot users were also affected.
Telecom says it's investigating the cause.
