More volunteers needed for village housing project

Habitat for Humanity New Zealand is appealing for volunteers to help a rebuilding programme in a part of Fiji battered by a cyclone almost a year ago.

Cyclone Tomas wrecked entire villages on Vanua Levu.

Habitat is constructing 46 houses with funds from the New Zealand Government.

The project is about half finished and Habitat says it needs more volunteers for a group going late this month.

It says people who can give two weeks of their time, are wanted.
