Fake $20 notes are being circulated in Tauranga. Five notes have been handed to the police after they were used at a bar in the past two days.
Senior Sergeant Rob Glencross says other businesses may also have also been targetted and people should be vigilant when checking money.
He says the counterfeit notes are lighter in colour and all have the same serial number.
