2nd Red Cross team going to Brisbane

A second New Zealand Red Cross flood relief team is on its way to Brisbane to help the city mop up.

The team of four fulltime personnel will help co-ordinate volunteers in the city.

They will replace another four-person team that is due back next Monday.

Red Cross international operations manager Andrew McKie says sending personnel to Australia gives them the experience to cope with a disaster if one hits in New Zealand.
