A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said the crash involved a bus and a car, but that no one was trapped or needed to be rescued.
A St John spokesperson said it was transporting four patients to Auckland City Hospital, three in moderate condition and one in a minor condition.
Auckland Transport said: "Initial reports suggest car turned on a red arrow."

Traffic was diverted down Park Road while the scene was cleared, but the road has now opened, with a large tow truck arriving to take the bus away.
The bus was a Number 70 from Panmure to Britomart.
There are no passengers remaining at the scene.

A local worker told RNZ many accidents happen at the corner of Park Road and Carlton Gore Road, with vehicles coming down Park Road and turning right onto Carlton Gore Road crashing with vehicles coming straight up Park Road headed in the direction of the hospital.
He said council had been looking into getting better signage for the area.
