State Highway 2 north of Wellington has reopened after a four-vehicle crash north of Ngauranga.
Wellington Free Ambulance said one patient was taken to Hutt Hospital in a minor condition, four others were assessed and treated at the scene.
At 5pm, Waka Kotahi said drivers should expect delays Hutt-bound, as congestion is presently heavy between the Terrace Tunnel and Ngauranga Interchange.
