ANZ's mobile app, internet banking having login issues

ANZ has confirmed some customers are experiencing issues logging into their mobile app and internet banking.

More than a thousand people have reported issues with ANZ's mobile app goMoney on the website Downdetector.

Downdetector shows issues with the ANZ app began being reported just after 2:30pm on Wednesday.

Some users mobile app shows an error message that reads: "Temporarily Unavailable. Please hang tight, or come back later while we fix this for you."

One ANZ app user told RNZ they experienced problems with the app on Tuesday night and was unable to access it on Wednesday.

In a statement ANZ said: "We apologise for the inconvenience; the team are working to resolve this as quickly as possible."

"Those needing to make an urgent payment can call our Contact Centre on 0800 269 296."

The bank said their team were experiencing "a higher number of calls".

ATMs, EFTPOS and PayWave were all working, and account balances and funds had not been impacted, ANZ said.
