Auckland Airport is thanking passengers for their patience after a terminal had to be evacuated on Saturday morning.
A fire alarm had been activated in the domestic terminal shortly before 8am.
Auckland Airport emergency services responded, and the terminal was cleared for re-entry less than 20 minutes later.

Labour MP for Nelson Rachel Boyack was at the airport at the time of the alarm and posted to a video to social media.
"Auckland Airport bright and early on a Saturday morning. #FireAlarm," she wrote on X.
