Police have arrested four people after finding a stash of guns at a Whanganui home, including in the roof space.
Police said a search warrant last week uncovered nine firearms throughout the Puriri Street property.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Carey Priest said the guns included high-powered rifles, some of which had been stolen in a burglary the day before.
He said other items from the robbery were also found, as was a small cannabis growing operation.
"Officers found a significant number of items and arrested four people, one of whom had a warrant out for her arrest."
