A person is dead after a two-vehicle crash south of Dunedin.
Another person suffered moderate injuries in the crash on East Taieri-Allanton Road/SH1 about 1.30pm on Thursday, police said.
The Serious Crash Unit attended, and the road has now reopened after being shut for several hours.
The Otago Daily Times reported the crash involved a car and a motorcycyle.
