Police have located a body in the Coromandel area thought to be that of a man who was missing.
A police spokesperson earlier said that Jared was last seen leaving his Thames home on Sunday 24 August and was headed for the Coromandel Peninsula, but did not return home.
The body was located during a search near the Coromandel Peninsula on Tuesday evening,
Police said while formal identification was yet to take place, it was believed to be that of the missing 35-year-old man.
It will be referred to the coroner.
