People are urged to come forward to police with information on historic abuse allegations at several West Auckland schools.
Police have charged a man in relation to abuse allegations in the 80s and 90s but cannot disclose further details about the man or the schools involved due to legal reasons.
A police spokesperson said it was believed people in the community may have useful knowledge from that time and should get in touch with police by calling 105 and referencing file number 240602/5875.
People could also visit their local police station.
